Top 5 Video Games to Play in a Waiting Room

Waiting in a waiting room sucks. We all have our own way to pass the time. Lot of us read a magazine or a book. Sometimes we listen to our favorite songs. But lot of gamers pop out their Smart phone or Nintendo DS to play a quick game that can last ten minutes to 45 minutes.

These are my games to play in a waiting room!

5. Minecraft: Pocket Edition

One of the most popular PC and Xbox 360 games in the palm of your hand; what can get better than that? Minecraft: Pocket Edition offers the player a mini-version of Minecraft. It has both creative and survival. It has a lot smaller world and less items but there is still plenty of things you can do, which makes it prefect for waiting in a waiting room. You can use the time to build a giant castle or kill hundreds of creepers.

4. Any kind of 2D platformer.

I couldn’t decide what 2D platformer was my favorites. There are tons of good ones for the Gameboy, Nintendo DS, and smart phones; like Mario, and Kirby. You can beat many levels within your waiting time and still have tons to go. They are additive and a good time waster. My favorite one for Android is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orangepixel.stardash

3. WarioWare Series

All of the portable WarioWare games are great fun. You select a character, and you play the character’s “microgames”. They have tons of microgames, you will find time just flying by when playing WarioWare. My favorite one is WarioWare: Twisted for the Gameboy Advance. You might look weird playing it, but it’s super fun.

2. Pokemon

I want to be the very best like no one ever was DUN DUN DUNDUN

You will want to wait longer while playing this…

1. Tetris

At any time that I’m waiting, I pop out my smart phone and start playing Tetris. Everybody loves Tetris. There is no better game to play in waiting room than Tetris.

What are your favorite games to play while waiting in a waiting room?

Game of the Year 2011

The Game of the Year is Minecraft. The game can be prefect, the only limitation is the imagination of the players. The game doesn’t end, you can spend hours on something, then you find something else to spend more hours. The game will still get better.

Minecraft is the game I played the most this year. This is the only game I recorded a let’s play for. I can spend many hours on this game. It made me a bigger pc gamer and I learned many things about computers, modding Minecraft.

I was gonna give the Game of the Year award to Zelda or Portal 2 but Minecraft has endless potential.

Game of the Year Nominee: Mincecraft

Why wouldn’t the game I played the most this year, be a game of year nominee. I played this game enough and watch enough videos of Minecraft, to know it’s definitely game of year material. I often said this is one of the best games ever because you can do what you want, when you want and with mods, the potential is endless. I don’t know what to say… but it’s an amazing game and it will be hard to be.

Total Miner: Forge

Today, I turned on my Xbox 360 this month for a game I saw online yesterday. I was searching for a split-screen mod for Minecraft but saw Total Miner, a game for the Xbox marketplace. I said to myself  “I should download the trail tomorrow.” so… I did then, I said “I have to get this game.” so… I did. The game is only 3 dollars! I like it because of the split-screen and it’s like Minecraft. The game is the top downloaded for indie games. Total Miner got a new fan,(my bad writing)

I don’t know much details for Minecraft coming to Xbox 360 but if it doesn’t have split-screen, I have this game.

E3 2011: Day 1

Today was filled some good announcements and some major disappointments. I’m happy for Halo 4, Just Dance 3, and the PlayStation Vita. I’m kinda happy for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 but I wish it will be on other systems because I don’t really like Xbox 360 (That’s only my problem). My major disappointment is Rabbids on Xbox 360 Kinect. 😦 😦 😦 I was hoping for anther adventure but I could settle for a party game BUT I CAN’T EVEN PLAY IT!!!!!!! MOST OF THE RABBIDS FAN BASE IS ON THE WII!!! Fans won’t go out and buy a Kinect, just for a mini-game collection. That game will probably receive bad reviews, the Xbox gamers don’t  even want the Rabbids on the Xbox (or don’t care). If Rabbids was on the Wii, there will be a bigger fan base . Rabbids need Wii

I got an Xbox 360 Controller

Controller for Xbox 360

Well, for my birthday I got a wired Xbox 360 controller.  I wanted one because I can use it on the Xbox 360 and most PC games work really well with it. The game James Cameron’s Avater works perfectly with the controller, I had a lot of fun using it. With the controller, I thought I could finally play Transformers: War for Cybertron but the game won’t even start up any more (uggh). I’m also pretty sure if I played around with some settings, I can get the controller to work with Minecraft. All in all, I think it’s really good to have.

Minecraft Test

Today we tried to do the first video but I failed but I think I found a good game capture program.

Here is a quality test.

Let’s Play Minecraft coming soon.

Okay, me and my friend decided to do a multiplayer survive in Minecraft. We don’t know what to call, we were thinking to name it after Turtle Dojo because that is where most of the views will becoming from. The problem is that we can’t really film in the best quality because the screen is not big enough or not good quality. We kinda did a test today and we had fun.
